Final Countdown

I actually came across this clip while wasting some time (researching) at work.

Pretty funny stuff. It builds.

Spring has sprung

So spring is finally here and after a mid week hiccup in the form of a blizzard on Wednesday better weather has finally arrived in New York.

This week was a bit frantic. Big Dave was here on Monday to Wednesday and Dylan from London was over shopping his book around photographers and casting agents in New York. I caught up with Dylan on Thursday night and showed him around the Lower East Side.

This weekend was pretty good, Saturday was a bit of a wash out but that was just a good excuse to sleep late and veg out on the sofa until we went out for Dimitri's Birthday dinner at a restaurant called 24 in SoHo. Sunday was beautiful and a great day for just being outside, so me and 'that girl' went over to Brooklyn to wander around Williamsburg which was quite interesting and defiantly a welcome change from the overcharged, hectic, crowded Manhattan.

Don't worry I still think Manhattan is a better and more importantly more convient place to live than Brooklyn but I don't know how much longer I will think that so if you haven't visited me yet, email me and book those plane tickets before it's too late.

Tons of fun with big Dave

Davidshearer

When I was working in London my copywriter was Dave Shearer and he's quite a big chap, a bit like me. We were know as 'tons of fun', a title that we adopted and made our own. Dave is now working in San Francisco but he was in New York this week for a training session and we got to hang out when he wasn't be trained.

Craving fish fingers

Fishfingers

While I was back in the UK I wanted to have a fish finger sandwich, in fact I had been thinking about it for the last few months. I didn't get around to having any because time was against me and I was more concerned with consuming bacon sarnies.

I thought my chance to gorge myself on cheap fish by product had gone.

But luckily I was wrong, it's obvious if you think about it. I live in the land of connivence food, of course we have fish fingers here in the states, I don't know why I hadn't looked for them, but I hadn't.

They just call them fish sticks which is not as good a s fish fingers but they taste the same. And they make a damn tasty dinner. Fish finger sticks sandwiches rule.

When I grow up

Miguel sent me this video this morning. I know it's old, but it is still very amusing.
